Coulthard gebruikt Red Bull-auto als muziekinstrument
Formule 1-auto’s worden meestal gebruikt om zo hard mogelijk mee te rijden, maar David Coulthard bedacht dat zo’n bolide ook uitstekend kan dienen als muziekinstrument en dus speelde de Brit een liedje met de RB7 uit 2011. Marcus Ericsson staat eindelijk weer eens op een podium
In de Formule 1 wist hij geen enkel podium te betreden maar in de IndyCar gaat het Alfa Romeo's derde rijder beter af. In Detroit haalde hij dit weekend de zilveren trofee binnen. De laatste keer dat de Zweedse coureur op een podium stond was nog in de GP3.

Leclerc bij MotoGP aanwezig zondag
In Italië vond zondag de race van de MotoGP plaats. Ferrari-rijder Charles Leclerc was aanwezig op Circuit Mugello. Dat laat de Monegask weten via Instagram.

Verstappen neemt amateurvoetballer op de hak
Philippe is spits van het vijfde van AFC, maar wist niet tot scoren te komen afgelopen jaar. Meerdere BN'ers, waaronder Max Verstappen, namen de amateurvoetballer op de hak. De Red Bull-rijder had een boodschap voor de Amsterdammer: 'Gefeliciteerd met absoluut helemaal niks. Ik ben natuurlijk geen voetballer, maar het is niet heel indrukwekkend.'

De dames achter de Formule 1-coureurs
Naast de gevaren die Formule 1-coureurs ervaren als ze de bolides door de straten van Monaco jagen, weten de meeste rijders ook de nodige aandacht van het tegenovergestelde geslacht te genereren. De meeste coureurs hebben het niet slecht voor elkaar!

F1 WAGS & DRIVERS Here’s a selection of pics featuring drivers and their wives/girlfriends starting off with Italian Giada Gianni with boyfriend Charles Leclerc last year in Abu Dhabi. Second is Pierre Gasly with adorable Cate Masetti Zannini last week in Monaco. Last year in Abu Dhabi I shot the personable, stylish and delightful Elena Berri with the amiable Esteban Ocon. Last week was the first time I’d captured Mexican Sergio Perez with his now pregnant wife Carola in the paddock. Classy Emilia Bottas is married to Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas, both are in the next pic taken at Monza in 2017 and then we have the stunning, stylish Finn Minttu Raikkonen hand in hand with the love of her life Kimi. Daniil Kvyat is snapped arriving into the Singapore paddock with his partner Kelly Piquet (daughter of Nelson) in 2017. And the last pic shows Kevin Magnussen being dropped off to the German GP by his girlfriend Louise Gjorup, unfortunately I was only able to shoot the back of her head.
